Meet Izzy
Izzy is a medium sized, 40#, young female ACD. She is super sweet and a very happy dog. Current on all vetting, spay and monthly preventives.
I don't think Izzy has had any structure in her short life but that doesn't mean a hill of beans to this happy dog. She is super friendly and loves people and dogs. Her days consist of playing in the yard with the other juvenile delinquents, digging holes and just doing dog stuff.
We don't find her clingy or velcro like some cattle dogs can be. Her recall is limited at best. Food bribery works well. There is just too much to do in the yard to be bothered to come into the house. We don't crate Izzy at night but we do when we are not home. She seems to crate fine.
Izzy needs some basic training but other than that she would make a wonderful addition to any active home. Like most ACDs she is active so be sure you plan to exercise a lot.
