Meet Ivy
FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.
Ivy is an adorable little lady who is practically perfect. She is affectionate, loyal and thinks that everyone is her friend. Ivy is dreaming of a family that will include her in all their adventures. She loves going for walks in the neighborhood as much as she loves warming your lap on these chilly days. She is a go with the flow kind of girl.
Ivy has impeccable house manners. She is polite and waits patiently for potty breaks. Ivy is protective of her home and will bark to alert to strangers or unfamiliar noises, therefore, apartment life does not suit her. Ivy loves other dogs and she will need a home with a doggie playmate. She is living peacefully with dog savvy cats but will get the urge to chase every now and then. Any cats in the home should have a safe place to hide just in case Ivy decides it's play time. Ivy loves people of all ages and would be fine in a home with respectful children over 8 years of age.
Ivy recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She also received a dental with extractions. Ivy is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. Ivy is 8 years old and weighs 14 pounds. Her adoption donation is $250.00.
Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog. For questions about this dog please call Elizabeth Woche, Senior and Special Needs Dog Coordinator, at 425-345-3876.
