Meet Ivy

Meet the most gentle girl, Ivy!

Ivy was found in Kentucky after being hit by a car. She was taken the vet and treated and then sent to a very crowded shelter where she was placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding.

Ivy is a 50 lb lap dog that just LOVES human affection. She has been known to give the STAF volunteers very gentle and loving hugs when they let her out of her cage.

Ivy is a GORGEOUS girl, inside and out! She has a gorgeous black coat with a big white pach on her chest, and white on her paws making it look like she's wearing socks. She has arguably the cutest ears we've ever seen. They are very expressive and bounce around with every step she takes.

Ivy is gentle on leash, she is gentle with other dogs, and gentle with the volunteers. She is an all-around sweetheart and she is looking for her forever home to give her all the love and affection she so deserves!

Please check back for updates as we get to know Ivy better.

*** Email adoptadog@STAF.org for next steps! ***

• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• We require a 4-foot-tall physical fence for homes with children under the age of 11. We also may require a physical fence for specific dogs on a case-by-case basis, depending on each dog’s behavior and exercise needs.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
