Issy - Resident Angel (Senior for Seniors Program - Permanent Foster) Chihuahua Mix Quentin, PA

**Update** (7/31/23) Issy is doing so great in her permanent foster home. Her foster mom has really been working hard to gain her trust. Issy now visits a local dog park with her canine siblings and seems to really enjoy herself! (6/23/19) Since Issy has been with us for almost 2-1/2 years in her AAU foster home, we feel that it is in her best interest to remain with us. She will live out her life as a Resident Angel. (3/4/19) After two years in our rescue, Issy is still extremely shy! She finally takes treats from our hand, but she is still very leary of being petted or held. Issy needs a very patient foster or adopter who is willing to work with this special little girl to continue to help her to trust. (6/26/17) Little Issy is still very shy in her foster home. Issy just needs patience and love to come out of her shell. She is a sweet little girl who needs someone very special to adopt her! (5/31/17) Issy has been spayed and is living in a Central PA foster home. She will need a very patient adopter to teach her not to be afraid. Issy is a sweet girl, but she is so unsure of everything going on around her. She loves other dogs....its people that she isn't so sure about. Issy needs someone to love her! (3/1/17) Issy is now safe in a temp foster home in North Carolina. She will be transported to PA as soon as we find a foster home for her. Issy is such a sweet little girl! (2/19/17) Sweet senior chi girl, Issy, was surrendered to an out of state shelter when her family could no longer care for her. Issy is people friendly and dog friendly.
