Meet Isla!

Isla is an outgoing and affectionate blonde labradoodle puppy ready to steal your heart! She's a charming mix of playful energy and gentle snuggles. She loves nothing more than to romp around with her toys, wagging her tail with joy as she explores the world around her. With her outgoing personality, she's always up for an adventure, whether it's chasing after balls in the yard or going for a leisurely stroll in the park. Her #1 thing is she lives for belly rubs. She will almost immediately roll over when you start petting her to get those belly rubs! While she's still mastering the art of puppyhood, including house training, she's eager to learn and grow with a loving family who can provide me with guidance and patience. Her fosters say she's well on her way to being fully house-trained, as she's great with her kennel and gets out in the morning with a dry pup pad. If you're searching for a furry companion who will fill your home with love, laughter, and endless playfulness, then look no further—Isla could be the perfect match for you! 

Isla had an injury to her eye as a puppy before she entered our program at 3 weeks old. After treatment with antibiotic ointment her eye has made much improvement but her eye still may need to be removed depending on how much progress it makes in the next month. If she does need to have it removed it can be done when she is spayed, all of which will be covered under our program at our veterinary partner.

Isla is not ready for her spay surgery yet, but she has received her first vaccines. Her spay/neuter, rabies, and full vaccine series will be completed by RARE as age-appropriate and will be included in the Adoption Contract.

Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption

BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.

Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care.  As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.

***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
