Hello, my name is Hunter and I am a Chihuahua and I am 2 yrs old. I weigh 9 lbs 11 ounces and neutered. I'm kind of sad, see my mama past away and I miss her. I loved my mom dearly. With that said, I am finding myself in the need to be adopted. Right now I am living with my foster mom.

NOTE from foster mom: Hunter is a sweet chocolate colored love bug in need of a new home. He has expressive ears. Hunter will follow close by when he is not napping around. He would enjoy a quiet home with daily walks and lots of snuggles. Hunter likes to chase a ball, will shake for treats and is house trained. Hunter is still sad and needing someone to help him get his pep back. He is currently being fostered with other dogs, various sizes. He is also in a home with cats, and he shows no interest in them. Hunter is also low energy. He has not been around children that we know of. He is an inside dog and needs a secure fenced in yard so he can take a walk around and enjoy the rays.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
