This is Hula!

Hula was surrendered back to us because her owner could not take care of her. She is a lovely black Pit Bull Terrier mix. She's approximately 4 1/2 years old.

Hula is a very sweet, people oriented dog. She really just wants to spend all the time in the world with her people. She loves to go on walks, and would be the perfect jogging partner.

Hula is very polite, and she knows "sit," and "shake" very well. When she wants attention, she will quietly walk up to you and look into your soul with the sweetest eyes. She loves laying next to you while you work from home, or watch tv. Hula is very affectionate, and would love to have a home with kids who are 10 and up.

Hula is picky about her dog friends, mostly because she wants to soak up all your attention, which makes finding her a home that much harder.
She thinks that rabbits and squirrels are just fluffy toys, so we think she feels the same about cats too. No cats in the home for this sweet lady. We would also like her to find a home with at least a 6 foot, or privacy fence.

We would like to find her a home as an only pet. But she loves kids who are respectful. If she goes to a home with kiddos, we'd like them to be 10+. She's the type of dog who would play for hours with the kids in the backyard, then come inside for dinner and, her favorite, nap time!

We are currently working on getting some weight back on Hula. When she was surrendered to us she was very scared, and confused. All the stress she was under caused her to drop weight dramatically. But she is currently gaining it back, and doing fantastic.

Adoption fee for all dogs over four months old is $200 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.
