Howdy Manchester Terrier Mix Seminole, FL

Howdy (Buddy) is a wonderful dog. While we suspect he was never walked on a leash by his previous owner he quickly learned and now enjoys long walks twice a day. He has learned to play catch, use the rope pull and loves doing zoomie runs in the back yard! He is a dog who enjoys greeting all humans and is gentle with small and frail people. He rarely jumps up when greeting folks and he loves to cuddle on the couch in the evening while we watch TV. He is very smart and has learned several commands such as sit, paw and down. We are working on stay. He is a good watch dog letting us know when the mail is arriving and when strangers come into the yard. He remains reactive to squirrels on walks but is easily redirected with clicking noises with the tongue and the word "let's go". He lived with a cat while in his foster home but remained reactive to seeing it. His behavior has improved by 50% but we still are unsure what would happen if left unattended with one. He remains reactive to all dogs on walks. My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives.
