Sweet HOOK will be placed in his pre-approved adoptive home around the end of February after his neuter.

HOOK was born to Mom Sandy (see photo) in the safety of a wonderful foster home. We are so glad that he and his ten (yes, ten!) littermates made it to safety in time for the blessed event.

HOOK is a baby (born December 28, 2020) and wants a home that understands the world of puppies. He will only be placed in a loving home that is dedicated to work on house training, leash manners, and will introduce him to a variety of safe activities and experiences so he can be comfortable in the world.

While we never had the pleasure of meeting Baby Daddy, Mom, Sandy, is a gorgeous Retriever Mix that weighs about 40 lbs. However, HOOK may grow to be smaller, the same size, or larger, at adulthood and with a similar or different "look."

Puppies are immunized on a strict vet recommended schedule, and HOOK's forever family will be required, at their own expense, to complete the puppy immunization schedule, including rabies, if placed in your home prior to the schedule being completed. Adopters are provided with current vetting records to provide to their personal vet, and we will confirm that you DO complete that vetting schedule in a timely manner, including the purchase of monthly preventatives (flea & heart worm). HOOK will be neutered & microchipped before being placed in his forever home.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age-appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
