Meet Honks

Meet Honks!! He came in as a stray on 2/11/24. We think he is about 9 months old. He is extremely timid. He won't walk on a leash so he has to be carried, and that is no easy feat. He is a chubby guy! We have seen no aggression. He just doesn't seem to know how to be a dog, which is very sad. He will play a little bit with toys but not for very long. He will not be an easy fix, so please don't think you will take him home and he will magically transform. He will do best with an experienced adopter who can help him learn how to be a dog. Someone who can gain his trust and show him what love and companionship is all about. It won't be easy, but so worth it in the long run. He is available for adoption or rescue.
