Meet Sweet Honey Bear! Honey Bear is a spayed, 5-year-old female, 15-pound long-haired Terrier Mix and her adoption fee is $595.

Honey is a local girl and was raised with a toddler and mom that no longer had time for her. Honey loves children, however, she is not comfortable with adult humans and it takes time for her to warm up. Once comfortable, she is a snuggler and will keep your feet warm at night. Honey is good on a leash and enjoys walks. A game of fetch is her passion, and only second to playing a game of chase in the yard with other playful dogs.

Honey will require:
- A fully fenced and secure yard.
- Ideally, another dog that needs a playmate.
- Grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep her coat beautiful.

Honey gets along well with dogs and cats. We are seeking a loving family that is familiar with small dogs and able to provide her with unconditional love throughout her lifetime. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying.

Ideally, dogs should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview.

Honey is fostered north of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval.

The tax deductible adoption fee is not negotiable. The fee is needed in order for us to "save it forward" for the next dog. The fee covers spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, rabies vaccine. We seek the best "fit" home for our dogs.

6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the State of California while pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we “Save it forward”; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs.
