Meet Honey
Meet the charming Honey, who found herself in need of a new home through no fault of her own. Honey was living with multiple dogs, and unfortunately, her barking led to complaints from landlords. All she truly needs is a loving home where she can receive the attention she deserves. Honey will do best with kids 16 and older.
From Honey's foster
Honey has seamlessly settled into her new foster home, showing off her excellent manners with their two small dogs. She's incredibly considerate and not possessive of food or toys. She eagerly sits for treats and handles them gently. Honey is an active playmate, especially with their chihuahua, and she's even trying to engage with their elderly poodle. Her crate training is progressing well, with only a few minutes of nighttime fuss.
Honey quickly adapted to using the doggie door, thanks to the guidance of their dogs. She's also remarkably patient, allowing them to touch her paws and tend to any grass seeds. Her favorite activities include playful chases around the backyard and gentle wrestling with the chihuahua.
Occasionally, Honey may mouth your hands, but she's very gentle about it. She does seem a bit cautious around men, as evidenced by a recent growl at James, although they have only had her for a few days. However, she does warm up to him for pets. They are working on her house manners, as she's shown some curiosity by jumping on kitchen chairs and marking a few spots where other dogs have previously marked. With patience and training, Honey is sure to become an even more wonderful addition to any loving home.
