Honey Golden Retriever Mix Waterville, OH

We are excited to announce that Honey is officially ready to be adopted! With a recent follow up with her eye doctor, she has been cleared medically and ready to find her forever home. This sweet and petite (only 40 pounds) 2 year old is ready to find a family to call hers.

Honey is great with all dogs, big or small and also cats. She will need a playmate that is gentle enough with her to keep from knocking her over but still enjoys a little play time. We will require an existing dog in the home as she enjoys a companion. With her hind end weakness she does require minor adaptations for her every day living. She cannot do stairs so she will need a one level home and easy access to her back yard. She has adapted well to using a ramp for the 2 steps at her foster home. She will also need help getting in and out of a vehicle. She does not have the stamina to go for walks but enjoys being outside.
Honey loves everyone she meets and has a goofy personality that will make you laugh.
We have been on a long road with Honey where she's had eye surgeries as well as an FPO for her hips.
