Honey is a beautiful,4 year old, 70lb girl who is an absolute snuggle bug with humans! We originally rescued her as an 8 month old pup from a high kill shelter. We then placed her in what we thought was a forever home where she happily lived with a family who has two young children, whom Honey loved very much. Honey ended up injuring her (2) hind ACL’s & the family chose to surrender her back to us instead of spending the money to fix her injuries, which broke this dog’s heart.
Honey is EXCELLENT with children & loves to be around people! She unfortunately is NOT good with other animals, so she would have to be placed in a home as an ONLY pet. Honey is house trained, crate trained, loves the car, loves going for walk & knows the commands sit, stay & leave it. And this girl is very very smart, so she could easily learn lots of other commands if someone had the time to teach her. Honey would be a great walking or running partner for someone & she is a great watch dog. Very protective of those she loves & listens wonderfully to those she is close to. We are looking for an active family/person with a fenced in yard for this dog.
She’s spayed, had surgeries to fix both of her hind legs, is up-to-date on all of her vaccines, is heart worm negative, on heart worm & flea preventatives.
