PURPLE– Dogs in the PURPLE category are very shy and will need equally patient adopters that have experience in confidence building. Dogs in the PURPLE category may also benefit from having another confident canine in the home.
Dogs are assigned to color categories using any previous owner notes, general handling, as well as staff and volunteer observations. As we continue to get to know the dogs and gather further insights into their personalities, colors may be adjusted accordingly.
Rancho Coastal Humane Society remains temporarily closed to the general public, but we have companion animals in our care that are ready for adoption BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, and our staff is ready to make that happen!
