Herman and Sophia- TRIXIE SURVIVORS Collie & Golden Retriever Mix Clearfield, KY

Herman and Sophia are a package deal. I think Herman would be fine without Sophia, but she clings to her brother. They are currently in the Louisville area.

These 2 came from the trixie foundation, a terrible exploiter hoarder situation. They had to fight for resources and had zero vet care. The hoarder claimed Herman had cancer but he really had a protein issue with his kidneys that was causing his bloat and he was also a cryptorchid dog. He was treated successfully and is doing very well. He is a happy sweet boy. Both are cat safe.

They are quiet & both are really laid-back dogs. They listen well. Herman loves every single person & dog he meets. Sophia might have suffered more abuse since she clings to her brother. But she is always sweet & calm.

They are just happy to be fed, cozy & alive.

Sophia can be a little iffy when meeting new dogs. She has been through so much in her life so it is understandable. She is perfectly fine with kitties.

If you can offer these 2 a home, please reach out! They are UTD on vaccines, HW neg and on prevention. Sophia has dry eye disease and requires daily drops. It's a good thing we got her when we did or she would have gone blind.

Randy Skaggs, the exploiter hoarder, took diversion for his crimes. It is a type of guilty plea. Just google the trixie foundation for more information.
