Herbie is estimated to be 7 months old and is 51 lbs.

Playful, fluffy, puppy Herbie has been in his foster home since 3/15/23 and enjoys playing with tennis balls. He likes to run around our fenced in backyard, or to play with one of our pack dogs. He lives in a foster home that includes his foster mom and dad, 3 dogs (males and female), and 2 cats. This happy boy gets along great with all the other dogs in his foster home.

Herbie is very trusting of his foster parents, and he has also easily adapted to other temporary foster parents and their dogs. He loves playing with other dogs! He knows “sit” and is learning “stay.” Herbie is practicing “heel” when on a leash walking. He would love a fenced in yard to run around in free play. He is getting more comfortable going for rides in the car, and he settles nicely on the backseat during the ride.

Herbie is house-trained and has not had an indoor accident in his foster home or in his crate. He understands that he should go outside to do his business. His adoptive family should be prepared to take him out on a reasonable schedule. Herbie is crate-trained and stays in his crate when his foster family is out of the house.

Herbie is adorable, sweet, and playful. He deserves a family who will give him playtime and structure so he can become an awesome family dog. While he will be hard for his foster family to let go, Herbie will prove to be a wonderful addition to a very lucky family.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
