German Shepherd fans your dream dog awaits! Heidi is a very good girl. She is about 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. She goes to dog daycare with her foster mom, who works there, and enjoys it very much. She loves riding in the car and jumps right in and sits nice the whole way. At daycare she plays nicely with others and shows polite manners to the staff. She has a great recall and catches on to routines quickly. Heidi is well housebroken, and crate trained. She will go stand by the door when she needs to go out. She loves squeaky toys, playing tug and fetch and she is VERY snuggly. This dog wants and deserves a best friend in her adopter. She needs a human that will give her time and attention and she will repay you with incredible loyalty. She will need plenty of exercise. She is definitely true to her breed with intelligence, loyalty and energy. If her needs are met, you really could not ask for a better dog. Heidi is currently getting eyedrops for dry-eye. The medication is not expensive, and she sits perfectly for you to put it in twice daily. It seems likely she will need the drops forever, at least on a "as needed" basis.
