Meet Harry

Harry is a 3 year old neutered male ACD mix. He was surrendered by his family after being too much for them in their suburban neighborhood. Harry is loyal, intense and very bonded to his human. He lived with another dog in his previous home and loved her but can be a bit pushy with new introductions to male dogs so needs slow introductions. Harry is suspicious of new people and needs time to warm up before he feels safe. Controlled introductions to strangers are a necessity and Harry is very food motivate which helps. Once Harry loves you, he gives you his all! Harry is well behaved, house trained and crate trained. He needs kind leadership and strictly positive training. Harry will need solid fencing or leash walks. He has shown that he is unable to make "good" decisions for himself when off leash (such as charging and barking). If away from people/dogs, Harry is great off leash and lives for hiking and running. This dog is amazing when you earn his trust.
