Harlow French Bulldog & German Shepherd Dog Mix Rockwood, ON

Harlow a 15-week-old mix (possible GSD/French Bulldog) looking for the right home. She is currently 14 lbs and might get to about 30ish lbs. Harlow’s house training has been going well. She sleeps through the night from 10:30pm to 7:30am and will go in her crate with no problems but is rewarded with a piece of chicken. She loves to work but as a puppy can still be easily distracted. She was an owner surrender as she was pulling hair out of her older dog but originally purchased online only to find out she was from a hoarding situation with some medical issues that have seen been cleared up.

She is learning her basic commands of sit, down, stand, come, leave it, focus, get into heel, however mostly from luring. Her favourite activity is searching for her food in the ball pit and loves using her nose. She is curious and although not sure of things from time to time she still wants to check scary things out with minimal hesitation or is easily worked through them. She currently lives with 4 malinois and a mini aussie and is learning appropriate boundaries. She loves to play but as she is smaller can get a little frustrated and will usually try to grab a dog’s collar or skin on the neck.

She will need to be with a dog that can teach her what is appropriate and what isn’t or an owner to step in during this time. She attends enrichment daycare twice a week and loves climbing on the equipment and working. The only issue which she will hopefully grow out of is car sickness.

She has a not interacted with cats or kids however is very friendly with all people and wants to say hi to everyone. She shows no guarding of food or toys, just normal puppy biting but can be a little bit of a bully with dogs and due to this she would probably not do well with cats. She is quiet but will bark when she wants out of her kennel if she has to go or knows she is coming out but not for long.

Harlow would make a fun little active companion
