Meet Happy
What can we say about Happy? Well, he is happy! Happy to be with you, the cats and most especially the other dogs. Cats can be fun to chase so you will have to work on proper introductions. He can't get enough of his foster brothers and sister doggies. He wants to play, wrestle, and give them kisses but is still learning when enough is enough. Snuggling on the couch at night is one of his new favorite routines. You can't find a better partner to watch a movie with you.
Happy loves pretty much everyone he meets but does seem timid of people wearing hats or having their hoods on. Once they take them off, he is still shy but warms up quickly. He was a celebrity at the vet's office and cried when they left the room, he wanted all the pets! Doorways and getting in the car are still very scary but with patience and time, he will do great.
He is all puppy and wants to chew. He loves toys and has managed to bring every one of them into his cage. His cage is his safe space and Happy chills there often. He now loves to chew up his beds, so we are going to try a blanket instead. Happy is a quiet dog unless he is in his cage and sees the cats eating, then he is very vocal! Other than that, you wouldn't know he is here. He takes treats very nicely, loves his dry kibble and is a very messy drinker. He will benefit from some basic training due to his age and seems to be potty trained when on a solid routine.
