Hank Pit Bull Terrier & American Bulldog Mix Marseilles, IL

Hank!! A gentle giant of a boy! He is 1 year old and about 80 lbs. His family couldn’t keep him any more and he has been patiently waiting for his happily ever after family. Hank is a pitbull mix. He would be best as only pet, but he has so much love to give you he’s all you will need. He loves people and gives good kisses. He would love a fenced in yard to run and play and he is not not a fan of cats.

***Update from one of our volunteers:
I just wanted to brag on how awesome Hank is and how far he has come from when I first met him. He is SO good about walking on a leash now without pulling. He slows-stops when you say his name and he takes treats so gently. He loves to give kisses and is really a sweetheart. Don’t let his size keep you from taking a chance on this guy. His big heart has lots of love to give!

Effective February 1, 2024 our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs and puppies. All of the dogs at Pet Project are tested and examined by a veterinarian before they arrive at the shelter. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, and spay or neuter.
