Meet Gypsy! FOSTER NEEDED for Oct 14th-30th!

Gypsy is the sweetest girl. She came in with Kingston, our lab mix also posted. She is what I call a pocket husky, as her petite build is unusual for a husky. She is just the right size, perfect for a condo or house. She is an estimated 45lbs. She is young, likely 1-2 years old. A cute story that happened recently with her, was when I was moving dogs to clean, and I moved Miley a small pocket pittie lab mix next to Gypsy. I was not sure how that would go. They ended up giving each other kisses through the fence, very unexpected and adorable.

Gypsy was very quiet and affectionate when she first came into the kennel. She has since become much more kennel stressed and needs a home out. We are seeking both a foster or adoptive home for her. We have noticed that she seems wary of some men and prefers women in general. But with reassurance and some patience this could be worked through easily. She walks well on leash, and would make the perfect trail running companion. She will need an active home, without toddlers or cats, very typical for those who know huskies. She would do best with someone who works from home also. She is what we call active calm. She will do very well in a home office as long as someone exercises her properly during the off hours.

Gypsy has had her initial shots, and will be spayed and chipped upon adoption. Please go to our website redwagginrescue.org to fill out an application and help this very sweet girl get out of a cage!
