Meet Gunner
Gunner is a young energetic male German Shepherd who is looking for his forever home.
Gunner is about 2.5 years old and weighs 90 pounds. He is house trained, crate trained, and rides well in a car. He loves going on trips about town. His owner normally works from home so he is used to having his person around. He had been left at home for up 5 hours on his own.
Gunner meets people with a wagging tail. He goes right up and says hi! He walks well on leash.
He can be cautious when meeting a new dog. After they get to know one another he is friendly, but can be pushy. He is living with a young male GSD and his energy has proven to be a bit too much for the other dog.
Gunner has met a neighborhood cat and was curious. He has not lived with a cat.
Gunner has not been around children. Due to his energy we do not advise he go to a home with small children.
An ideal home for Gunner would be a home with GSD experience who has the time to devote to keeping this young boy well exercised and mentally stimulated. We recommend enrolling this big boy in structured obedience classes.

*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $450
* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $400
* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options:
(1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $400 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE.
(2) If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.
