Meet Gummy B this Sunday, May 5th from 2pm-4pm at Gossip in the Grain in Vancouver, WA. We will have a few of our dogs their - please join us if you are looking to adopt!
Meet Gummy Bear! She is adorable low rider with a heart of gold. Gummy is 4 years old, and 57 lbs and will gladly accept all the love and attention someone can offer. We believe she is a Pit/English Bull Dog mix who enjoys hogging the bed. She is approaching her 1 year mark at the pound and needs to find her forever home. She walks well on a leash, potty trained, and prefers to sleep next to her people.
Gummy, Gummy B, Gummy Bear, B are all names the volunteers call her as she melts into their arms. She really has a passion for loving her people and being the center of attention. Gummy B puts it on thick when she looks into your eyes. She is the type of girl who knows exactly what they want and don’t want. Gummy Bear prefers to be the only animal in the home. She doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs, cats, small animals but has done very well with children. We recommend older children because of how much she LOVES children, Gummy doesn’t know her own size.
Gummy was able to have a weekend out of the pound and we learned more about how amazing she really is. She enjoys watching TV and will gladly climb into your lap while doing so. Rides great in a car and will gladly let you know when she needs to go outside. Her little legs make her look pint sized, but she is very strong when she has a mission in mind. She likes strutting around in her jackets and will gladly give kisses to anyone who lets her. Does she sound like your girl? Please apply today.

Gummy B is currently at the Del Norte Animal Control in Crescent City, CA,
Twice a month Del Norte volunteers drive the 6 hours to the PNW to meet potential families for a meet and greet and/or an adoption event. Submit an application today to talk to the adoption coordinator and find your new best friend.
