Gryffin is a fun little dog who loves to play with his friends and cuddle with his people. He is a smart boy who is treat motived and ready to learn! He already knows basic commands such as, "sit," and "laydown", and "go to your crate" and is eager for you to teach him more fun things! He would love to have a fun doggy sibling and a home with a fenced in yard to run around and play in. Gryffin also gets along well with his feline foster siblings, so he'd probably do fine living in a home with a dog savvy kitty.
Gryffin can be head shy with strangers, which means he gets nervous when unfamiliar people try to touch his head or reach over him. He is looking for an adopter who is patient and happy to build trust and who will also advocate for his personal space when meeting new people. He might need a couple of weeks to feel fully comfortable in a new home, but your patience will be repaid in endless kisses and cuddles and absolute devotion!
Gryffin's ideal day would be:
Morning: breakfast followed by playtime in the yard, then cuddles, then second breakfast, then naptime.
Afternoon: playtime or walkies, followed by a snack - peanut butter or yogurt filled Kongs are his favorite! Naptime.
Evening: playtime or walkies, then dinner, then cuddles until bedtime. Sleep in your bed? Yes please!
