Gryffin Border Collie Mix Fairmont, MN

Gryffin was adopted last year when he was a puppy. (His name was Tucker then and you can see the picture of Tucker and a littermate in his roll of pictures.) He was returned to us when he was a little over a year old.

Gryffin is a mixed breed boy who might have some border collie, husky or lab in his background. He is very playful and active. He was adopted to and lived in a home with a 4-year-old child and was great with the child. Gryffin is also good with other dogs.

So why was he surrendered? Gryffin has some challenging behavior in the home. Whether it is part separation anxiety or 100% bored puppy/young adult behavior is hard to say. What we do know is that he chews on things he shouldn't. Things like furniture, carpet, and anything not well protected. Training, physical and mental challenges, supervision, and age should greatly improve this behavior.
