Groot Chihuahua & Beagle Mix Kokomo, IN

Meet our boy Groot!! His personality is "the class clown.". He is always happy, playing, running, and being goofy. His purpose is to spread joy laughter and love for life. In the litter, Groot is also the most outgoing one not that the others are not. He's just making the extra effort. He is always the first one to play with the bigger dogs in the home, he enjoys people and being babied as well as held as one. He has so much personality. He has so much love to share. All Dachsund personality too. He is a mischievous fun explorer. Always happy all the time. He has so much personality. His biggest most beautiful characteristic is his nurturing ability. He is the best most snuggly cuddly snuggle bug. He can be held forever and be happy. Groot is perfect with everyone including children.

A physical fenced-in yard is preferred. Another dog or 2 in the home is best.

Suggested adoption fee minimum $600

Groot is working on house and crate training, current to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto & corona, 1 or 3-year rabies,  dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped including free registration for life, spay/neutered, heartworm & lyme diseases tested negative, and current on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention.

Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. We do NOT ship and meet and greet are required before adoption unless you are a previous adopter.

Previous adopters of AHRs have the first choice and are not anticipated to pay another adoption fee again. Donation of choice is welcomed.

Training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Breed experience is a plus, and a socialization/training plan is in place.
