Gretel is the silliest being Ive ever met. She is so full of life and energy, its motivating. We know she didnt have a great past, and theres really point dwelling on it because that life is in the rear view mirror!!I would love to see her have a dog buddy to wrestle and run with in her happy forever life. Gretel can come on a bit strong, so it cant be just any dog. She needs a dog who has patience for a puppy pest! Gretel is mostly house-trained but still has an occasional accident from previously living outside. It took a little bit of time to get her to understand she ONLY potties outside, but shes 90% there! Shes very treat motivated and loves to learn. It has been a very fun and rewarding experience working with her this far! I cant say enough good things about this pup. Shes incredible! Dogs have been heartworm tested and if appropriate (age and time of year) all dogs and puppies are given heartworm preventative. All are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Dogs and puppies are given distemper vaccines and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional distemper vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter. Any canine over 4 months of age is brought current on the Rabies vaccine. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. Dogs are individually priced as above. Please note that we do not ship dogs and we cannot guarantee that a long trip to see a foster dog will result in an adoption or taking the dog home on that day. It is in the best interest of pooch and owner to enroll in an obedience class soon after adoption. After all, you have a lot to learn about your new friend.
