Gus Labradoodle & Great Pyrenees Mix Rochester, NY

What do you get when you wait until your Great Pyrenees mix is a little over a year to get spayed, and shortly before she does, she digs under the fence and you find her minutes later spending "quality time" with the neighbor's unaltered Labrodoodle? Surprise - "Great Doodles"!

?? Gus aka ‘Goose’ is an 11 wk old sweet, silly Great Pyr/Doodle mix puppy looking for his forever home. He enjoys a game of chase with other dogs - however, on his own he is more than happy to keep himself busy with toys. Goose plays hard and snoozes harder! If he’s not snuggled up with you, you’ll find him cozied next to his favorite pair of shoes or lounging in the sunshine. He is a great snuggler and walks well with a harness and leash- shocking for a puppy!

He has the potential to be a big boy with parents Labradoodle and Great Pyrenees. Goose does well in a crate and settles within 30 minutes. He is working on potty training and responds well with frequent outs, encouragement, and treats for reinforcement. He uses potty pads as back up and makes it 6 hours overnight keeping his crate clean. Gus is looking for a forever home with attentive and loving humans to continue his training. He has a wonderful disposition and will make a great furry family member in any home! He has lived with cats in his foster home and been fine!

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
