Graham, a 7-year-old Labradoodle weighing 46lbs, is a sweet and observant fellow, discovering the joys of peace and comfort in his new environment. He delights in simple pleasures like snacking on snow, scratching his back along the fence, and wagging his tail happily during morning strolls in the yard. His favorite pastime? Long naps in the sunshine, rotating between his favorite spots outdoors. While Graham may initially feel hesitant indoors, especially at night, he simply needs patient and understanding companions who can help him build confidence and trust. With a quiet and consistent home environment, preferably with a yard for his outdoor naps, Graham will blossom into a beloved companion, cherished for his gentle soul and endearing quirks.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. Because some of our dogs are very under socialized, they may not be a good fit for young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, many of these dogs come around with patience and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
