Meet Gracie and Poppy
The Unlikely Sisterhood!
Gracie and Poppy come from very different backgrounds, but they’d love a future together!
•Gracie (Hound/Dane mix 5 years old)came up from Alabama in February with her 8 puppies after being found nearly starved to death in the middle of the woods. Once her puppies were adopted, Gracie found herself depressed and downtrodden. Her foster mom quickly learned that Gracie thrived around other dogs, but nothing has compared to her love for Poppy! The two bonded instantly and it’s been quite a sight to behold!
•Poppy (golden retriever, 11 months old) was surrendered because her owner wasn’t able to spend enough time with her and fulfill her enrichment needs.
•These two “unlikely sisters” have captured our hearts and we would LOVE to find them a home where they can be adopted together and allowed to keep their bond!
•These beautiful gals are housebroken, well-mannered, great with other dogs and people! Gracie can still be bashful in new situations but Poppy has boosted her confidence tremendously and we expect that will continue to grow!
•They are the sweetest girls!
•Both of these “sisters” are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy!
