Hunk of the month club winner...Gordon!

Gordon is a 1.5 year old, 80 pound hunk, and his only wish is for a forever family. He’s great with kids, and gets along well with easy going dogs and loves a good car ride. He’s a smart cookie – he already knows sit, he’s working on “down”, and does pretty well in crate…. That said, he needs to be crated when left home alone so he doesn't get the urge to be destructive, and that crate must be zip tied shut. No, really. This Houdini can and will spring the lock! He just really loves to be around his people, so who could blame him?

If you’re looking for a furry shadow, Gordon is your man. We’re talking stage 5 clinger, snuggle on you all day kinda buddy. He’s also a bit of a nervous nellie – we suspect his last family may not have been very kind to him. He’s been building confidence with his foster family but he’ll need a family that will be patient with him while he learns how to be a dog. He won’t take things that don’t belong to himm but he's working on it! Like all of us, Gordon is a work in progress and doing well with his potty training though!
