Is your dog good with other dogs: Yes, with proper and slow introductions.

Is your dog good with cats: unknown

Is your dog good with kids: untested but expect her to be. She is very gentle.

Current size: Medium

Is your foster dog vaccinated: Yes, she has her core vaccines.

Is your foster dog spayed: Yes

Is your dog house trained: Yes. She is not very vocal but with a routine schedule for going outside she has been great.

Is your dog crate trained: Working on it. She needs a food incentive to go in most times but sometimes just goes in to chill out. When the door is closed she will whine for a while but does settle.

Does your dog have any special needs/medical conditions: Currently being treating for heartworm and needs to gain weight. Otherwise she is a happy healthy dog.

Does your dog have any or display any aggressions (toys, food, people, leash reactivity): We have not seen any aggression. Meeting new people and dogs can make her a little anxious initially but with slow intros she has done well.

Is your dog playful: yes when she is in the mood. She is not always sure how to play with her toys as it’s all new for her.

Describe the dogs energy level: currently low energy, but will have her moments when playing with our other dog. She settles quickly when told to.

Does your dog like to snuggle: Yes and she loves her belly scratches.

Does your dog know basic commands: Working on them. She has a pretty good “sit”, knows “down” and working on “stay”

Does your dog know any special tricks: is counter surfing a trick ? She is very food motivated.

Does your dog like to go on walks: Yes. She is great on leash and loves her walks.

Does your dog have any fears: none that we have noticed aside from some anxiety when meeting new people or animals especially with larger groups.

Does your dog have any unique traits you have noticed, whether in personality or physically: her ears are just the cutest ?

In a short paragraph please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog:
Goose is just learning to dog after having her puppies. She is gentle and loves being with her humans. So far she hasn’t shown too much need for extra long walks (although summertime may bring different adventures) and is equally happy just lounging around the house or laying on her bed or the couch. Her crate training is progressing and she’s done well while her fosters are away at work. She gets very excited when they return home but will settle with time. Goose would be a great family dog, and would be happy in a low or medium energy level home. She will need continued training on her commands and socialization.
