Goose and Sushi. Best friends for life. Partners in crime. Yin and Yang. Two peas in a pod. Whatever you want to call it, these two found that magic something.

These sweethearts had a rough past and when they found each other, there was an instant connection. It’s almost like they have become each others emotional support animals.

Goose is the sweetest boy! He’s about 2 years old and 55 pounds and we think he’s a terrier mix. He wants nothing more than your love... like his face on your face kind of smothering love.
He thrives on routine, consistency, and predictability within the home. He is low energy and he’s happy spending his time napping with you on the couch.
He’s great on a leash and out in public so he’s the perfect pup to join you at a brewery or restaurant patio during summer days.

Goose has a big heart with equally big emotions. He has separation anxiety so he can not be crated or left alone, but when he’s got Sushi by his side, he freely roams the house perfectly, knowing he’s not alone. He is potty trained and not destructive. Goose gets overwhelmed by dogs bigger than him, but he does great with small friends like Sushi.

Sushi is sweetest girl! She’s about 9 months old and 20 pounds. We’ve done a DNA test and she’s mostly a dachshund/bulldog mix.

Sushi is a nervous girl but her bestie, Goose helps her feel brave. She looks to Goose for reassurance and it helps to build her confidence.

Initially, Sushi tends to run and hide in new situations, but once she’s opened up, she’s super friendly and submissive. This is when her adorable personality comes out.

She is fully potty trained and has no problem going in her crate.

These two pups came from different shelters in completely different states, with equally unfair and upsetting pasts, but they got lucky enough to find each other in a South Carolina foster home. These two became bonded quickly and we’d love to see them get to live the rest of their lives with each others love.

We’re searching for the perfect fit to adopt Goose and Sushi together. They’ll need a patient adopter who understands the struggles they’ve been through and will give them the structure and comfort they need. ARNNE is a small, but mighty, group of pet loving volunteers. We support the rescue/critical care/boarding expenses of local town/city animal control officers that otherwise only have authorization to vaccinate or euthanize. Every life is precious but it takes funds to save lives.

Adoption fees, $450 for adult dogs, $475 for puppies, rarely cover the expenses of rescuing, boarding and providing exemplary medical care to the animals in our program. All animals have had a thorough exam, are treated for any parasites or infections, spay/neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.
