Goofy Terrier Mix Richmond, VA

Hi there, my name is Goofy and I am a male terrier mix who is 2 to 4 years old and weighs 12 lbs. I was running around in a neighborhood for quite some time without anyone being able to catch or get near me so the local shelter came out and trapped me. I was petrified at the shelter and I was also hostile due to my fear. A nice ACO officer from another shelter stepped in and was able to make friends with me and then contacted this nice rescue to see if they would save me and work with me. I have made a lot of progress in my foster home but I will still need a home that will continue to work with me and teach me to trust people as whatever home I had in the past, it must not have had nice people and I am initially afraid of humans. I am great with other dogs but seemed to ignore the cat at the vet's office. I would do best in an all-adult home and a fully fenced yard to keep me secure and safe. I am crate trained but not a fan and do complain about it. I am working hard on my house manners!
