Meet La Roux!!

She is a 9 month old adorable, sweet Belgian Malinois. She is sight impaired, more than likely suffered trauma, and has had very little socialization. As you can imagine the combination of these things has caused her to be a shy sensitive girlie. However, she recovers quickly and really wants to please once she has a bond. Shes a very sweet girl, but she will take time to warm up to anything new. In my home (foster) she has already built so much confidence! Shes also a really smart girl, curious and a quick learner. She has learned to sit and down. She is learning left and right. Shes got a great recall and shes potty trained! She has been learning how to run on a treadmill, run next to a bike, walk on leash, and just generally how to be a dog. So far she has been totally fine with children, but because of her sight and how sensitive she can be I would recommend a child free home. She is fine with cats unless they throw the first paw, then she will defend herself. She loves playing with other dogs, but will need time to be comfortable with a new dog. She loves to snuggle. She is a sweet natured enjoyable girl to have around. She is up for anything and always curious and willing to try new things even when shes afraid. Dont let her sight impairment fool you shed make an excellent dock diving dog, agility, literally anything, she could do it! Shes a diamond in the rough. She is currently in Lake Stevens WA.
