Ginny Shepherd Mix Lacon, IL

Ginny’s littermate was adopted on Saturday Dec 2, and now she is waiting for her home too. She is a shy dog, but within a minute of meeting you, she warms up and is willing to trust.

Ginny has been in foster for quite a while, and she knows what it takes to be a great housemate. She is turn-key ready for a new home because of the work her foster put into raising her. She will be a medium-sized dog when fully grown (*mixed breed - maybe shepherd)

Good with other dogs.

Here is a message Ginny’s littermate’s adopters left on our social media page on Dec 4th: “We adopted her foster mate over the weekend and if she is trained anything like him, whoever adopts her will love her!!! Their fosters are awesome!!!”

Here is a message from the foster family: “Ginny is great with our dogs and I think she’d be great with cats too. We have fostered 12 dogs and she may be the only one who my female dog accepted readily. Great personality for kids too!”
