Meet Ginger

If interested, please contact the foster home. Petfinder Profiles doesn't always work.

Single female, naturally red, Ginger. ISO my new best friend, partner in crime. I'm a very good looking girl who loves to play. Please be someone who will be home more than away. I'm open to kids, just give me time to get to know them. I love car rides, long walks on the beach or hiking in the woods. I prefer a quiet country or rural life. I'm not much for apartment dwelling. I love dogs and will live with a cat...if I have to.

I'm not a fan of crowds and may be nervous around new people, I'd rather meet quietly one on one. I have to warn you, I'm super clingy, and affectionate. I will give you more kisses than you can handle. I want to be with you every minute. I will make you love me, just gaze into my beautiful, smokey brown eyes. I know you can't resist my quirky smile. Something you should know is I have a thing for feet, I can't resist toes, they fascinate me. I also love cuddling, and curling up on the couch for a good movie, with you of course. I keep a tidy house and will sleep alone even though I'd rather be cuddled up next to you.

From Ginger's Foster Mom...
Ginger, 2 1/2 yrs, about 38lbs and could definitely stand to loose a few pounds.
Cattle dog mix.
UTD on all vaccinations and spayed.
Knows basic commands.

Ginger is the sweetest dog, no trouble at all. She is 1 of 4 dogs in my home. Ginger gets along with everyone, she's very submissive. A lover, not a fighter. Her quirky nature and underbite will warm your heart. She does have a nose on her and is always sniffing the air, trying to catch the scent of a pesky squirrel. A big beef marrow bone or a squeaky toy will keep her entertained for hrs.
She takes a while to warm up to new people. Ginger won't do well in a apartment. She needs a yard to explore and a family that is home more than away. She keeps a tidy crate but would rather be cuddled up next to you.
She would warm up to a dog savvy cat just fine.
Its very tempting not to adopt her myself, but she needs more attention, a furry friend to play with would suit her just fine.
Ginger deserves to be the Apple of your eye, the peas to your carrots, the moon to your stars....
Ginger is great in the car and easily walks with you on leash.
She is an extremely affectionate and a loyal companion.

Ginger has been with me since 7 months.
She will need patience and a quiet transition into her new life.
