Hello, my name is Ghost. I am a 1-Year-Old Boxer/Pitbull Mix who is Cute and Cuddly. I currently weigh 75 Pounds, and I think that is the perfect size for a LAP DOG! Yes, I love to Sit on Your Lap. If not, beside you. Please keep reading. My Foster Mom has a lot of good things to say about me!

My Sweet Personality!
My Foster Mom just adores me. She said I am very Sweet. I will actually FOLLOW her and her family around the House. I am also very LOVING as I like to SNUGGLE on the SOFA and give lots of KISSES. If I am not on YOUR LAP, I am good with Laying Beside you on the couch.

I am FUN and PLAYFUL!
I love to run around outside with my TOYS. I will actually THROW my TOY up in the AIR and CATCH IT MYSELF! My Foster mom gets a GOOD LAUGH as she watches me GALLOP around the Yard. I also enjoy picking up STICKS in the Yard. See the Video attached where you can see me Carrying a BRANCH - too funny!! I am such a GOOFIE DOGGIE!!

My Silly Side!
I know this sounds odd, but I LOVE BATHS! I will just SIT STILL in the TUB while I get SUDSIE and RINSED OFF by my foster mom. I LOVE IT so much that I will JUMP IN THE TUB and just SIT THERE even when it is not bath time!! Just too cute!

ANYONE Say WATER? I AM IN!
Yes, I LOVE the WATER. As I mentioned I LOVE to GET BATHS. I also ENJOY chasing the WATER from the HOSE and RUNNING through the SPRINKLERS. How FUN is that!!

I am a SMART DOGGIE TOO!
I am so much more than a PRETTY FACE. I am very Intelligent too! I am HOUSETRAINED and know the Sit, Shake Paw, Come, Wait at the Door, and Stay Commands. I also know Heel. Yes, that is right, I will walk RIGHT BESIDE you! That is in the video too. You can't say that about too many doggies my age!!

More on My Training!
I am VERY RESPONSIVE to Verbal Commands and Corrections. A firm NO and I will respond. I also come when you say my name. I am very EAGER to PLEASE and FOOD/TOY Motivated as well. Yes, that means I will work for food - lol! All kidding aside, I enjoy learning new things. I am very ATHLETIC TOO - I would like to try AGILITY, DOCK DIVING or maybe NOSEWORK! All fun activities for people and dogs.

I AM GOOD in the CAR!
I will do just about ANYTHING to be with MY FOSTER FAMILY. That includes going for an adventure in the car. I am well behaved in the car too. I am CALM, but I do like to STAND UP in the SECOND ROW and LOOK OUT the WINDOW!

I am EASY TO GROOM!
As I mentioned earlier I LOVE BATH Time. Please check out the video where you can see I SIT STILL for the ENTIRE BATH! I am ALSO GREAT for NAIL TRIMS. My foster mom says it only takes a few minutes to clip my nails as I sit calmly through the whole process.

I am a Well Mannered Doggie!
I am VERY good in my FOSTER MOM's House. I do sit on the sofa, but have never tried to chew or damage it. I also respect my Foster Families Food. They can sit on the floor and eat a sandwich. I don't even try to take it. I am also Calm, and actually mainly a COUCH POTATO in the house (as long as I get my daily exercise). I also SLEEP through the NIGHT and wait to be taken outside. I am a very good pup!!

My Mischievous Side!
I do admit to doing one mischievous thing. I like to Steal Shoes. I haven't damaged any yet. I do like to Suck on the Shoe Laces. I know it is weird, but I can be a bit quirky at times. But I do it all in FUN!

I ENJOY NAPS!
After some exercise, I enjoy a good nap. That means curling up on the sofa and getting a good snooze. When I am in a deep sleep, I will snore. It is actually quite cute!!

I Try to Communicate with YOU!
Yes, I told you I am a bit quirky! When my Foster Family talk to me, I actually make some CHATTERY NOISES as if I am trying to talk to them. It isn't a bark. Just some doggie Grunts and Chatters. This just adds to my CHARM.

I am a CALM, yet PLAYFUL DOGGIE!
After some exercise I am actually very calm. My exercise can be going for a walk, playing with a Stick or Toy in the Yard or doing zoomies in the yard. My Foster Dad actually works from home, and he says I just sleep on the sofa while he is working.

I would make a GREAT Hiking or Jogging Partner!
My foster family says I have great endurance and I am very athletic. I would love to go hiking or be your jogging partner.

Greeting People! My Way to say Hello!
When I am happy to see someone my whole Body and Tail will wiggle. I sometimes will even greet people (including my foster family) with a jump. It is not your normal jump. I actually jump up and down beside the person. I never touch them. I just have to show my excitement by jumping up and down. Now you must admit I am adorable!!!

I LOVE to GET RUBS with a TOWEL!
I told you I am a Quirky DOGGIE! I enjoy having a TOWEL around MY BODY and then RUB it ALL OVER my BACK. It is my version of going to a SPA! Again, I am so cute and full of personality!

I LOVE other DOGGIES - Big or Small!
I am so fortunate that my FOSTER FAMILY takes me to DOGGIE DAYCARE. There I get to play with DOGS of all sizes. I get along well with all the doggies I have met there.

I am a HEALTHY DOGGIE!
I am a very healthy and full grown doggie who currently weighs 75 pounds. I am up to date on my vaccinations, heart worm screened and I am already neutered. I am also taking monthly flea and heart worm preventative. I am all set to go into YOUR home and be your BEST FRIEND!!

Are YOU the Right Family for ME?
I am looking for a FUN LOVING family who will appreciate my Large Size, Silly Personality, Intelligence and Affectionate Nature. I will need a dedicated family to provide me daily exercise and will continue with my training. I LOVE PEOPLE, but will do best in a home with ADULTS and/or CHILDREN over the age of 10. I am a BIG, PLAYFUL doggie who could accidentally knock a small child over while playing. I am GREAT with NICE DOGGIES. If you have a dog, you must do a meet and greet with me before adoption. I am not sure how I will be with cats. I show interest, but have not had one on one time with them.

My SAD STORY!
Yes, I sound like I am living a great life, but that has not always been the case. You see I was found by a VERY KIND stranger running alongside a freeway. She spent 6 hours (along with other good samaritans) trying to catch me. I was so scared and afraid to trust people. This person actually followed me into a subdivision. I went into a yard where she just sat on a blanket until I came to her. Once I knew she wasn't going to hurt me, I followed her and jumped into her car. This is the person who is now fostering me.

More on My Sad Story!
Once in the car, my now Foster Mom could see I was extremely thin and had cuts/scrapes on my head and body. My Foster mom reached out to I Heart Dogs Rescue and Animal Haven where I received the medical care I needed. My Foster mom has done a great job too. Now you would never know I was in such rough shape. I am a HANDSOME, MUSCULAR Doggie who is in GREAT SHAPE. As I mentioned I am a 75 Pound Dog full of LOVE!!
