Meet Georgia~

Look into those soulful eyes and you can see the concern she had when her last day at the shelter rolled around. A volunteer stepped up to foster and we sprung her bail just in time! While those eyes are still soulful, the smile now lights up her face. What breed is Georgia? Your guess is as good as ours - Shepherd/Collie/Greyhound mix? Whatever it may be, it's a whole lot of happiness!

Georgia is between 1-2 years old and weighs 60lbs. She'll be making her way to her foster home in MD the 2nd week of September. We're just getting to know this cutie and will update more soon.

Anyone applying to adopt Gerogia must be willing to travel to MD to meet her, once the application is approved.

~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
