Meet Geo
Geo was brought into a high intake shelter in California as a stray with an embedded collar in his neck, showing signs of neglect and possible abuse. Geo has come so far from being a scared shelter dog. He's making incredible progress daily, and he will continue to thrive in a loving home with humans who are compassionate, patient, and committed to continuing positive reinforcement training. He is house-trained and working on building confidence in the big scary world. He is crate averse but has done great out and about in the house for up to four hours. Based on his current needs, his ideal scenario would be someone who works from home or isn't gone for long periods of time.
Geo is hit or miss with other dogs but does well with the two pups he lives with now. He enjoys a good wrestling session in the yard but respects his elderly foster sister’s lack of interest in play. He could live with respectful children 8 and up, and will shower everyone with slobbery kisses. Belly rubs are his jam, and he'll thank you for them with his infinite love. Geo has shown he may be open to living in a home with a dog-savvy feline friend. He's a healthy boy with no medical issues, and he's current on all his vaccinations. Geo is not a candidate for apartment living and needs a yard with a secure 5+ foot fence. Due to his early life a low traffic household would be ideal.
Meet Geo, and you'll see for yourself how everyone falls in love with his goofy personality and dazzling smile! Make his dreams come true and open your heart and home to this loving boy. Â
