Meet Gemma
Gemma
2.5 year old miniature Schnauzer
Gemma is 10 pounds of sweetness and sass in equal measure.
As affectionate as she is bold, this little girl will put on a tough act upon first meeting, but give her a day and she’ll be your shadow and the sweetest lap-warmer you’ve ever met.
Gemma has adjusted fabulously in her new foster home. She will require slow introductions to new people and guests - treats are the way to her heart! She pays little mind to the resident cat, sharing her foster’s attention and bed with no issues. She previously lived in a household with several other dogs. She highly prefers male dogs to dominant female pups.
Gemma walks well on a leash though her foster is working on reactivity when in proximity to other dogs or humans on the street. She’s very food motivated, which helps with training and positive reinforcement.
Gemma is a snuggler who wants nothing more than to eat, walk, and cuddle up with her human(s).
She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. She’s recently had a dental cleaning and heart-worm and fecal tested negative.
