Gemelli Pit Bull Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

Gemelli, was found as a stray wandering in Chicago and was recently rescued by SCCR. She was a diamond in the rough but now she is a gleaming gem with a shining personality. Gemelli is a medium-sized young adult, about 2-3 years old, and absolutely perfect house guest. She loves sleeping in her crate, playing with her foster’s resident dogs, and giving kisses.

Gemelli is hearing impaired which will require adapted training, but she is food motivated and a fast learner. She even knows the ASL sign for “sit.” Who knew dogs could understand sign language?

Given Gemelli's reactiveness to a leash, we think she would be happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard. She would thrive with another dog to help her gain confidence, show her the ropes, and maybe teach her to properly play with toys.
