Look at this face!! And Garret’s personality is just as WONDERFUL!! Garret is in a loving foster home and not at the shelter. Say hello to Garret, the incredibly adorable 12 year old Bassett Hound! This distinguished gentleman is used to living in a loving home. He lived with another small senior dog in his previous home as well. Garret is just a truly loving soul. You can't help but fall in love with this guy as soon as you spend time with him. He has been treated for skin issues but is healing nicely with medicated baths and extra tender loving care from staff and volunteers. Please don't pass this guy up due to his age, as he so deserves to live out his retirement years in a loving, quiet home! If you have a special place in your heart for the older ones, we guarantee you will love Garret! Garret's adoption fee is $50.

No appointment is necessary to adopt. Our business hours are 11am - 4:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance.

If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. We want the best fit for you and the adoptable dogs!

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
