Hi, I’m Freya and I’m a sweet and affectionate girl. I’m 8 years old and I weigh about 60lbs.

You see, my whole life up until I was rescued from the shelter, I lived outside. But because I love people so much, I kept getting out of the fence in search of anyone who would pet me and play with me...but after a few times of getting out my old owners just left me at the shelter. When my time was up, some nice people broke me out of jail! I went to the vet and was very healthy! When I finally got inside a home where it was warm and where I get affection and I have doggy playmates, I haven't once tried to escape! I want to be with people!

My perfect home would be with a family who has another dog who also likes to play like I do but I can't be in a home with cats or small dogs. I play with my 2 foster siblings in the back yard now and I love it! I know basic commands and correct easily when needed. I also love to play fetch and will return the ball when I’m ready. I'm housetrained and I don't need a crate because I never destroy anything when my foster parents are away. I would love to go hiking and camping with my new adoptive family because I love the outdoors and fun in the sun! When it's time to settle down, I love to take long naps with my fur siblings and I love to get petted and snuggle too!
