Fresno is a sweet, smart, athletic and energetic pup. He loves to play! He gets A LOT of toys out of his toy basket daily. He's pretty good at entertaining himself but also enjoys playing fetch with you. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can run around or with a family that can get him outside regularly.

His foster parents have a dog and cat. With cats, he is curious and interested, but not aggressive. He is good with other dogs. His foster family would love to see him go into a home with another dog or be able to socialize with other dogs regularly.

During walks, Fresno shows a lot of interest in other dogs and seems to want to play with them. He does pretty well walking on a leash but since he's still a puppy and adapting to his new environment, he can be nervous around loud noises, traffic, crossing the street, and being too far away from home. His new family will have to be attentive and careful on walks.

Apart from a few accidents early on, Fresno is trained to use a pee pad, to go outside or to hold it until it's time to go for a walk. He currently sleeps through the night in his crate next to his foster's bed. Even though he is likely a terrier mix, he's not a big barker.

Medical issues:
None.

Type of home we are looking for:
Fresno would do best in a home with a family that can give him a lot of love and attention. Because he is a puppy and has the associated energy, he will need to be exercised regularly and be mentally stimulated. They will also have to work with him on building his confidence.

Adoption fee:
$800
