A small soul with a big heart, looking for a loving home -

Life on the streets of my little town wasn't always easy for me, but I had my friend, Ethyl, by my side. Together, we braved all the scary sounds and guarded each other through every hungry night.

Despite my small stature of about 15lbs, my heart is enormous. I love to cuddle up in a warm lap. Walks in the park or sunbathing in the play yard are a particular joy, enjoying every new scent. I may not be big, but my curiosity knows no bounds! I'm, the bolder of the two, love making new female friends and exploring every nook and cranny.

No matter what your situation, if you're looking for a loyal companion, I am your guy! I promise to fill your life with endless love, playful antics, and heartwarming snuggles. I may be small, but the love I have to offer is anything but. Open your heart and your home, and I'll be the happiest little pup on four legs.

Note: While Fred and Ethyl enjoy each other's company, Ethyl, is not ready for adoption at this time. She tested positive for heart worms and, sadly, not ready for her new home at this time.

Fred is currently located with our rescue in the Texas Panhandle. We are one of 3 partner rescues with Project Freedom Ride and do monthly transports to the PNW and NE.

All directly adopted dogs come vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, if 6 months or older require a negative heartworm test, and up to date on flea & tick preventative and heartworm preventative if applicable and a negative fecal. Your adoption allows us to continue our mission. Thank you for opting to adopt!

As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call (FB Messenger Call, Whats App, or Google Duo). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
