Meet Fozzy, the Loyal and Loving Aussiedoodle!

Hello, wonderful humans! My name is Fozzy, and I am a charming Aussiedoodle looking for my forever home! At 2 1/2 years old and weighing 36 lbs full grown, I am a loyal companion with a heart full of love to give.

I have a special place in my heart for my people, and I absolutely adore cuddling up with them. While my past may have had some challenges, I want you to know that I am a good boy at heart. I was returned to the rescue because I started exhibiting guarding behavior due to the invisible fence at my previous home, which led me to nip at visitors. However, at my foster home, I have shown nothing but love and kindness to everyone I meet, including visitors. I am fully house trained, crate trained, and walk like a dream on a leash. I love going for walks, camping adventures, and exploring the great outdoors. Despite my rough start in life, I have undergone an FHO surgery to heal my broken hip, and I have received physical therapy and water therapy to help me recover. While I may sometimes lift my leg when running, it doesn't slow me down one bit!

I am a very loyal companion who gets along well with dogs and cats. I have been an absolute joy to everyone I've met at my foster home, and I even impressed the groomer with my good behavior! If you are looking for a furry friend who will adore you unconditionally and bring endless joy into your life, then I could be the perfect match for you. If you are interested in giving me a second chance at a forever home, please consider applying to adopt me at rarerescue.org. Let's create paw-some memories together and embark on a journey filled with love, loyalty, and happiness!

Complete the DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM (located on our website RARErescue.org)

We understand that it is important to you to find the right fit for your family. We feel the same way! The DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM is important and REQUIRED for this reason.

All of our Adoptables are:

Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption

BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.

Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.

***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
