Meet adorable Forrest

Looks to be a German Shepherd/Malinois. About 7 weeks old.

We did not see parents.

From foster mom,

Hey there, I'm Forrest, but around here, they call me "Thing 2." I'm a seven-week-old Belgian Malinois, and let me tell you, I've got energy for days. My foster mom says I'm as smart as a whip, and I like to think she's right. When I first came here, I was a skinny little thing, and I had a bit of food aggression. I guess I was just so hungry all the time, I couldn't help myself. But my foster mom worked with me, and in just about five minutes, I learned to sit and wait patiently for my food. She feeds me six times a day, and I've got it down to a science. I watch for her signals, and when she says "yes," I know I'm doing a good job. I'm a social butterfly, and everybody in my new pack loves me. Even the Chihuahua, who's a bit territorial, has started to warm up to me. I've got this knack for playing with him, and I think he's starting to see that I'm just a fun-loving guy. The Labradoodle seems to favor my brother more, but that's okay because I think I'm Maverick's favorite. He's the big Malinois who rules the house, and I look up to him a lot. He's like the big brother I never had. I'm learning all sorts of things here. Coming when called is a work in progress, but I'm getting there. And I've learned the word "out." When Mom says it, you leave the room immediately and then follow her wherever she goes. It's like a game, and I'm always up for a challenge. My foster mom thinks I'd be good for protection or scent work. She says I've got that pure Malinois mindset, even though I'm a mix. I'm loyal and always ready to be a great companion. Who knows what the future holds, but for now, I'm just enjoying being Forrest, the feisty and fun-loving pup, Thing 2 to my foster family.
